Shopolar

Background

I kicked off this project in June 2017 with the goal of building a platform similar to Shopify, but dedicated to Hong Kong merchants. At the time, online shopping was a booming market in the city, yet there were few local platforms available.

After several months of development, I pre-released Shopolar in August 2017 to a select group of sellers and refined the system until its official launch in February 2018. Over the years, I have continuously enhanced the platform’s features, eventually growing it into a profitable business.
